Ian Bousfield, former Principal Trombone of the Vienna Philharmonic and Vienna State Opera and trombone professor at the Academy and the Hochschule der Künste Bern, leads brass students in varied repertoire from the 20th and 21st centuries. The programme includes Barber’s Mutations from Bach, comprising a short sequence of transformations based on JS Bach’s version of the Lutheran hymn Christe, du Lamm Gottes.
This concert will be repeated at Regent Hall, Oxford Street, on Friday 5 October at 1pm.
