Behind the Score

Betty Roe MBE is an English composer with a wonderful voice and wit and a vast catalogue of compositions. She has built a highly successful career as a composer, musician, singer, conductor and teacher. In this lecture-recital, soprano Gabriella Di Laccio explores Roe’s works, presenting a varied programme of chamber music in the presence of the composer. A unique opportunity to hear the diversity and richness of Roe’s work and celebrate her outstanding contribution to music.
