The Royal Academy of Music and the Italian Cultural Institute in London are delighted to continue their multifaceted music cycle, once again reflecting the fruitful relationships and enduring dialogue between European countries.

1919 saw the death of both the composer Leoncavallo and the librettist Illica; this concert includes works by Leoncavallo as well as arias, with texts by Illica, from operas by Puccini, Catalani and Giordano.
