it’s after the end offers a selection of works from a year-long investigation into interdisciplinary performance design, assembling elements of sound, image, light, text, and enacting live events and ‘inactions’ to generate a performative installation.
Exploring themes of perspective, obsession, the passage of time, and the nature of practise itself, the creators reimagine the use of a recital hall to subvert and invert roles of spectator and performer, preparation and performance, and the seen and unseen of the classical music world.
it’s after the end borrows its title from a quote from Sun Ra, 'It's after the end of the world (don't you know that yet).'
Performances will be on the hour from 2pm-6pm.
Free, no tickets required.
